Pellet stove newbie here.
Just did my first overnite burn, about 9 hours burn time.
Does the ash look normal? Is my stove burning properly? Currently burning Green Supremes from Lowes.

Thats a pretty good color and a good amount of fly ash on the sides.

Im used to seeing less ash in the pot after shutdown, but my old Englander has a much different plate style and quite the ramp (angle) to climb. With far less holes in it. But my Fathers is newer and looks like that.

Not bad.

I get less ash than that in my firepot, but I'm burning super premium canadian softwoods.

Looks pretty good.

What settings are you using.

Was burning at a setting of 2-3. If it gets cold I will use a higher setting and maybe get a little less ash.
The bottom settings are factory 6-4-1
