Yes it will work. But.... You will need to overcome the the noise difference (different motor/different bearings/different sound) and also bore out the 6 holes about 1/32".

I bought this motor as a spare for the shelf and installed it 2 yrs ago (for about a week). Sounds like a Turbo spooling up :), but did take about 2 minutes of modification.
