Hello, new to this forum and I have a couple of questions.

I just picked up a Quadra 1900 wood stove. When burning a fire and the air intake is all the way open, when I close the door it tends to choke out the fire. I think this is due to wet wood but am not sure. I hope it ain't a breathing problem with the stove. Any input?

I also want to install a blower on it to push the heat to the rest of my home, I want to NOT rely on propane very much this winter, anyone know where I can get a blower for the 1900 model for a good price?

Last question is, should I install a stove pipe damper to control the exhaust to try to get my stove to run more efficiant?

I am new to wood stoves.

Thanks alot for any information.
