I will be starting on the install of my new Quad 7100fp. Looking for any help you can offer. I am thinking of putting it all up on a raised floor/hearth. I am also planning to use the sl300 series pipe. It will make the chase on the interior of the second floor a little narrower if I come off the Fireplace with a 30 elbow and thru the first floor ceiling on the 30 deg, then, once I am into the second story, return the 30 to straight and up thru the attic/roof. Any advice on working with the venting or building the hearth would be appreciated.
