We will be buying the Pacific fireplace insert. Now we are deciding on what to do about the door. We are considering going with the brushed nickel accenting. Is this a mistake? Does it get dirty quickly? Any opinions? Thanks

We got a brushed nickel face on our Travis Industries Xtrordinaire Gas Fireplace insert. We are loving it so far. Haven't had to touch it.

Just know that it is recommended (Quadrafire Stoves) to wipe your finger/palm prints off the nickel trim prior to the first firing of the stove. After that, no problem.

I have the brushed nickel door on my Napoleon 1401, it looks great, brightens up the stove area nicely and matches the rest of the room decor. Worth the extra money for sure.
