questions about 1977 VC Vigilant

I'm hoping someone here might know the size of the firebox on one of these stoves? I had one of these long ago and I'm trying to compare it from memory to the newer stoves available now.

There's got to be someone here that knows the approximate firebox size for this stove. Anyone?

VC listed the Vigilant as a 55 lbs capacity stove. I would guestimate it at about 2.5 cu ft?

I think closer to 3 CF, in terms of the actual amount of wood you can get in there....top loading.

So, in efficiency, it would probably compare to a current 2.2 or 2.3 clean burner, although perhaps the Vig might burn longer.
