i long should the 1st break in fire last!!
i got fasinated by it and it's been going (slowly) for 70 mins..... only one small log at a time

nope no noises coming from it... it smells to all hell , but....
warmed the room about 8 degrees!! i'd guess the fire box was into the 200's-low 300's.... kinda smokey but not too bad
