Any cross cut saw users out there?

While swaging my rakers last week I broke the tip of one off. Is there any way to repair this (heliarc etc)? To much gone to joint the saw teeth down to this level.

Any options out there other than dealing with a saw jump?

A friend of mine welds and services industrial sawblades for a living. I know he welds new shoulders on damaged circular saw blades all the time with a TIG welder, I believe. I don't know if he'd be interested in a small job like yours, but he might know someone near you who could do the work. He's in Burdett, down near Ithaca. http://www.senecasaw.com

My guess is that any decent welding shop ought to be able to handle it for you.
