Boy you don't want to be last and eating that cloud of dust.
 
Rally car racing is timed . . . cars leave every 1-2 minutes depending on class . . . the dust settled down pretty quickly.
 
I used to video for a small production co. We mostly did the lake Superior pro rally. That was so much fun. Until it got big enough and ESPN wanted in. Then we weren't allowed to video anymore.

Welcome to the club. I attended the annual Rally Baie des Chaleurs. It is part of the Canadian National rally circuit and is held 2 hours from where I currently live. Amazing drivers, amazing cars. A fun/good time!
