What do you think of burning Red Cedar during warmer weather? Do the extractives and resins cause excessive creosote buildup?

I get some of my logs form the ceder saw mill here on the bc coast. All i burn is soft wood it does not gunk up the chimney.

I like yellow ceder way better it burns hot and long, conpared to red ceder but go a head and burn it!
