Regency R12

I just got an older wooden insert, Regency(R12).It is 6” from the collar on the stove,can I reduce to 5".Masonry fireplace side of the house,my flue pipe is 13-8"outside-inside 6-11" it is no room to put 6" flexible sts liner in there.I but 5" pipe and reducer from 6-5" weet inspector gonna accept that.I am in Canada Ont.

There's a couple folks on here from CA, I am thinking of "cleanburnin" specifically, who is very up on the canadian regulations I think - maybe send him a PM, or retitle your thread about Canada regulations and he or others will take note of it! Good luck!

Don't be surprised if a WETT certified inspector won't sign off on it without something from Regency saying five inch is OK.

By the way, here is the manual for the stove that the inspector will want to see.
