Guys,

Looking to see if you can help me out on this one! I ordered in a new Eiklor 2 burner log set to replace the old one that came with the house. The gas feed comes through the firebox on the right side, but the gas valve is located on the left side of the box. Should I run black pipe inside the firebox, hugging the back and keeping it low or use stainless flex line? The log set came with a ~18" aluminum tube with flared ends and brass fittings. It is too short to run on the outskirt of the box. What is the preferred method of installation? Picture is of existing setup.

Thoughts?

I would use a flexible appliance connector.
They are a LOT easier than BIP to work with in tight locations.
They are available in different diameters & lengths.
Many of them also come with a black coating which will camouflage them.
You just need to have the correct fitting on each end, or the proper adapters.
