hello all im trying to install a century from lowes into the existing space left by my ex majestic barbque do ineed to put a steel pipe up tru the existing masonry? or just a shield of some kind and a pipe up beyond existing masonry? thnks
 
Read the manual.... ?

A centruy what? Pellet? wood? insert? Stove?
What model?
What is this hole you are putting in it? A firebox or just a brick hole in the wall?
Is the old chimney lined with clay tiles or just bricks?
