resizing vent...???

thanks for all the help on here....

I have a grizzly wood insert...i'm going to put in a liner...i currently have an 8" inch vent hole..can i reduce that to 6" inch. Plan to run to the roof..

can you recommend a liner? the cheaper the better?

If the Grizzly is designed only for an 8 inch flue, code forbids reducing it. Check with the manufacturer.
