I have a nice old combifire 1 which burns well for being an older stove and whatnot. but there is obviously no dedicated inlet for a outside air intake to hook up. Was wondering if anyone has rigged up an intake which comes in from under the stove and terminates kind of right below the main damper disc on the door? it obviously would not be air tight to the stove, but would give a source of outside air right in front of the inlet. would have to hook up a shutoff of sorts for the rare times the stove is not in use.
