A little exaggeration, but I have an older Nushwa in the garage and it eats an ungodly amount of wood. It has the turn knobs on the front for control but it seems they are so sensitive I either choke it or burn it too high. There is not a flu damper installed, would installing a flu damper help?

Thanks
Art

Yes. I have an old All Nighter Moe with front air intakes. I went all last winter without a damper, I chewed through wood. I installed a damper this fall, and have notices a huge reduction in wood consumption and better burn times.

It will still chew through wood but not quite as fast.
