Thanks for creating some of the greatest music in America. You and Paul Desmond introduced to me to jazz in the very best of ways.

Had to go find a little Joe Morello. He passed away in 2011 and I think the guy was one of the best drummers in history. Note, no sticks.

Interesting how brother Dave provided an entre for a lot of folks like myself who didn't grow up hearing jazz. In my case, he gave me just enough of a push that I went on to meet jazz unfiltered and more on its own terms. I still have a couple of Dave's original LP's. A bit dated, but still quite listenable. It's sort of like revisiting a musical "White Men Can't Jump".;) Groove on, brother Dave...

He was a bridge to a whole new world for me. Thanks, guy, you done good...
