Question:

I recently purchased a Franklin Insert and would like a source for parts and information about the stove. It was built in 1980 and has the Scandia brand on the top. Can you suggest a source anywhere in the U.S? Thank you

Answer:

Scandia was a short lived made in Taiwan brand which was not a good quality stove. The company stopped doing business over 10 years ago- so I doubt you'd be able to find specific parts. - At this point- I'd suggest recycling the Iron- and purchasing a more efficient and safer model. Check out the vendors at HearthNet - https://www.hearth.com/prod.html
