A month-or-so ago, a friend told us they were having a few trees cut down. They said "If you want the wood, it'll save us alot of money". I replied "I'll take the wood & it'll save me alot of money" After 3 full trailer loads, here's the result looking out my 2nd story back window. (I know it pales in comparison to Eric Johnson's 34 chords out the barn window!)

nice score. thats actually a good angle. most people think the tree companies will charge less if they take the wood however its usually the opposite. i tell ppl to get the quote with wood removal and than ask how much if they leave it and its almost always cheaper to leave the wood.

congrats... $400 to take the tree.. holy cow.
