screw jammed in the auger

If there is nothing to grip on you will have to drill and use an easy out
or drill and retap the thread . not an easy job for a DYI but not impossible

that is impossible/. its snapped and its barely flush. not to mention the thickness of the screw is like 1/16th thick wonder if theres a way to reverse the motor turning,

Take the field off the motor and flip it (if it's a shaded pole open frame motor which I suspect it is). That reverses rotation.
 
Flip the coil. Flip the coil. Flip the coil..............
 
You can also remove the set bolt and pull the auger motor off. Then just reverse the auger by turning it with your hand. That maybe easier than flipping the motor coil while the motor is in the stove. That is what I would try first . :)
