I spotted this oak, back in January in my buddies woods. I took about a 1/4 cord of it back then and went back for another load today. Nice white oak. 33a6b54a880564ee9e07dcac75efd5ea.jpg

Been a few years since I've burned oak, but awesome grab. Does your buddy have more that would be even better. Anyways nice pickup, how dry is it? They say oak needs a few years to season, but you are just that much farther ahead now awesome.
 
It's going to need a few years to season. This is actually the start of 4 years out for me. Some was full of ants.
 
Ants will disappear once split. Oak is great overnite wood.
