Hi, I have an Edil Kamin built in wood burner, unfortunately I have broken the door glass, after removing the old glass I notice that it was mounted on 4 small pads, one in each corner thus leaving a gap of about 1 or 2 mm between the glass and door. I have to clean the glass every day due to air getting in through this gap. Is there any technical reason why the glass was not sealed properly? if not, is it OK to seal with a good heat resistant sealant?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
