Hi, do I have to seal/tape the vent pipe joints outside of the house? I am using a dura-vent.
If yes, what type of the material should I use?
Thank you!

I have the duravent too! I sealed inside because they did leak and No seal outside. Didn't want to mess with the silicon where I didn't feel it was needed.

I had some metal tape laying around that is used for sealing ductwork. I used that and it worked fine. I figure if I have to take it apart to clean it it will be much better than a typical sealent
