Are you looking for the sensor that goes into the exaust tunnel?

First I heard of this. How does it work??

I believe he's asking for the value of the thermistor (which Harman calls the "Room Temperature Probe").

Unsure of the value exactly, but I have read on here that 30k resistor in parallel should give you about 7 degrees setback, if that's what you're looking to do.

I thought the only thing you could use on a P38 was a thermostat..

Thanks guys, the manual states the room sensor is needed to run stove on room temp instead of stove temp. At-stat do
es'nt seem to work.

Actually I think the set up is to have the stat in series with the room probe and the stove set to room mode on high. However, I might be wrong.

When satisfied the stat will basically remove the probe from the circuit making the stove go into idle mode or something.

Do a search using the search block in the upper left of this page.
