I've been asked to make a shaving scuttle a few times, so I'm making a go at it. I looked at dimensions of others online and they vary a bit- as does the presence of drainage perforations for use with a cake.

Anyone have preferences? How wide do you like them? How big should the spout be- it looks like some want to be able to dip a brush in there?
 
I can't offer any suggestions on the shaving scuttle, sorry. But I gotta know what the name of the new avatar is?
 
That's Mr. Tooffy. A friend who is a comic book artist in NYC draws people on the subway on the way to his day job. He snapped a pic of a guy with teeth like that and I thought "I have to make his skull". There he is
