Does anyone have experience with this? Good or bad? How long of burn times can you get with it? I found a new one at a decent price.

We just sold ours for $100...it was a great stove burned big splits, had to replace the bi metal thermostat a couple of times...it was no big deal. After the third one I just propped open the the flexible thermostat vent with some tin foil ...it worked almost perfect. That is the rectangular front to back wood stove we're talking about, right?

Yes, the rectangular one. How long of burn times could you get out of it? How many years did you get out it?

Except for needing a coat of paint it was still in good shape when it was sold last week after 7 years burning with it. 5-6 hours of usable fire/heat and 8hrs of usable hot coals that would ignite added splits quickly. We're heating a 3k area and have our a source of wood so it was roaring on high if you're half that sq ft then you'll have longer burn times I would imagine.
