If I get my new stove my current (only a few months old) double wall telescopic pipe will be to long. Has anyone ever cut it before? It will be a couple of inches too long the way it sits and will be nearly a foot too long if I put in a clean out T and elbow. I had it apart before I installed it and the pieces just slide together, there is no gasket material where they meet. If I mark it with masking tape and carefully cut it with a cutoff disc and remove any burrs it should work.
