Need to know what parts I need to connect my 1986 Jotul 3 to existing through masonry chimney. Am going to use 6" double walled, do I need anything else? Damper? 1st timer bought a house with existing wood stove set up now just need to connect!!

First thing is to get the chimney cleaned and inspected to make sure it is both safe to use and sized correctly for the stove. A damper might not hurt, but that may depend on the chimney height.
