while shopping this morning at home depot I spotted this funny sign. when I told one of the sales person about it, she did not know what Im talking about , then she offered to get an electrician for me. Can you see it?

Supposed to be CO (monoxide) instead of CO2 (dioxide)? Only thing I can think of, but I ain't too smart! Cheers!
 
Bullllll. Newer construction must have both but two combo detectors are NOT required.
 
Ha missed the 2
 
If the CO2 goes off I think you might be dead or really sick before the smoke goes off

Glad I didn't have a C2H6O detector in the house last weekend - would have woke everyone - phew, rough night. Cheers!
