Just grabbed a few from the "Who knows what's in there, this goes directly INTO the stove" pile. Anybody else do this?

Yes, I put any suspect wood into plastic storage bins to be burned asap.

Next thing after the "sketchy pile" is to start burning the furniture...

I don't take rotten wood 100' of my home. In fact, I have taken down every tree that could in any way be questionable.

Punky wood attracts everything you don't want in your home.

I do that on weekends when i dont stuff the stove full, but burn smaller hot fires. I can use all the weirds then because they dont have to stack tight when i only partialy fill the stove. I like weirds!
