HELP! We set up our wireless thermostat to our Enviro M55 pellet stove. We can turn the stove on and off using the remote, however the stove does not turn on or off based on the temperature. We had is set for 68 and put the remote right next to the stove, the temperature on the remote read in the 80's, yet this did not turn the stove off. Any suggestions??

TIA
Katie

Did you put the controls on the stove into a thermostat mode?

Frequently the stoves need to be powered off and back on after doing that in order to pick up the control change.

ETA: And if you put the stove in hi/lo mode the stove doesn't shut off it merely drops into the lowest heat setting.

Did you turn the stove off and back on, and if there was a jumper to remove did you remove it?

Is there a manual/auto mode on the t-stat as well?

Our skytech t-stat has an off/remote/on on the receiver and is a programmable transmitter. Not sure about the jumper, we didn't remove one. I will have to check out our manual.
Thanks.

The jumper if present would have been across the same terminals you hooked the receiver to on the control board of the stove.

I just went through the manual for your t-stat and the remote has to be showing thermo mode, that is set by the mode button.
