Sawed and hauled a small load after work yesterday. Wanted to break-in my new 260 pro. Was overall, very pleased with how it cut. Had the old 036 along for back up but never fired it up. Was amazed at how not fatigued I felt after cutting for 1.5 hours. BTW.. this wood is real dry. It's been sitting in piles in the middle of a cow pasture for several years. Will definately be burned 2010-11 season.

Mostly red oak. I'm gonna try to bring a load/week back to the homestead.

Actually, I was more concerned about stepping on a wasp nest or nest of copperheads.... especially when I got up in the pile.
 
I hear you Scott. That is another good reason to scrounge those things during winter months! I hope you get it all without the insects and critters getting to you.
