    buddy of mine cut down a small pear tree- he was going to let the wood go to the city if I didn't come get it. I've never burned pear but I couldn't pass up the free BTUs. Plus it was already cut up and right by the road.

    Easy BTUs are hard to pass on.
    Good score & a nice sunny makes for an all around good day ;)
    I'd guess pear should be a good burning wood.
