We want to heat 100% with wood...and want a good SHTF backup system for cooking, plus just the ability to cook with wood and save on gas and electric.

Our new place will be a little under 1,500 sf when the addition is done.

I'm looking for a cook stove that can do it all (stove top and oven), but it can't be ginormous, space is at a premium. It's going to go in the corner where this white corner media/tv shelf is sitting now:

The heat + oven, plus tight corner clearances may be a bit too much to ask, particularly if you want an EPA listed stove. However, for cooking on the stove top, there are several stoves that would work.

I haven't personally seen or used one of these, but it looks interesting for small stove with an oven (not EPA)

If the oven is forgone, then a PE Alderlea T5 will provide very close clearances with multiple cooking options using the swing away trivets. And there is the Napoleon 1150P which has a more purpose-built cooktop.

That bakers stove looks pretty nice and is pretty efficient for a non-epa stove.. Perfect for an isolated cabin or camp stove..

Yes, I'd love to try one of these out for a season.
