Smoke detectors went off today(wife cooking again) she asked when we put in the insert are we going to have a problem? I said you burn now in an open fireplace and no problems the insert will be a closed unit and I will have seasoned wood by the time we use insert next year. I have 3 1/2 cords all CSS in the woods right now to be ready for next year.

I don't have a problem with my detectors. When I open the stove door too fast I'll get a puff of smoke in the room.
No detector in the room. The others don't respond either. Good or bad. They work but not real sensitive I guess!!!
