How's the wind over there? Its howling pretty good over here. My stove has cycled to high a bit more than usual. But is toasty warm in the shack.

A quick re-wire to a key dependent circuit is recommended to prevent this from happening. Besides, you won't run the plow unless the truck is running, correct?

I woke up pretty cold this morning. I thought the stove ran out to be honest. As i stuck my head around the door, i see that its blazing like it should be and it was 61 in the house. burrr. cranked on the electric fireplace for 15 min and took the chill out of the bedroom and jumped in the shower.

No offense, but that doesn't sound like it was "blazing" to me. My stove was also burning (set at 5-6) at around 6:30 this morning, and the house was a nice 68.

I guess. Normally I'm the one on this forum that can't believe the temps some of you keep your houses, but I'm feeling "old" if Briansol likes that temp and feels warm. ;lol

my norms are 66-68 day, 63 night. so 61 is just a few below what i want it to be.
I left it on 3 last night. cold nights, i generally need to bump it up to 4 to keep up. But running on 4 for a long time ends up with lazy flame and soot after about 12 hours. There's no enough air for it to maintain running on level 4.

I got hosed on my install by the dealer. I was too ignorant at the time. If i had known now what i didn't know then, I wouldnt have bought what i did, put it where i did, or buy it from the dealer i did. I don't have an outside air kit either, so i suck in cold air all the time. see all my other threads for rants on that topic. lol
