Some birch for me & some for the moose

Glad you got 'er done - that trailer is sweet. 6,000 lbs fishtailing doesn't sound fun!

I never realized wet wood weighed so much. Is that average for most green wood?

Wet cottonwood lighter than birch?

The loads of birch I hauled this summer worked out to be right around 5000lbs a cord. I haul 2-2.5 cords at a time with my 12k rated flatbed trailer.

Nope not correcting you there very well could be a moose. I know the huge goose is there. My wife and I went up there on our honeymoon. On one our trips out in the sticks we found a "Ghost town" amusement park. The old goose was stuck in the parking lot, Looked rather odd coming upon this old place with a huge goose in the middle of the parking lot.

Not our honeymoon but I think it was somewhere around 1964 when we were there.
