After being on the short end of the cord so often it was nice to get 1 1/4 cords of green for $75 (splitting and sawing and delivery not included of course). I'm surprised at the values I'm finding this time of year.

Yes, now is a good time to buy wood. Sellers are happy they don't have to store it and buyers are happy because they get a good deal plus some time to dry the wood. Good to hear you didn't come out on the short end on this one.
