I've owned a Breckwell P24 pellet insert for 16 years. It seems like the last few years the walls have some semblence of light soot, more so than dust. The stove burns fine, I was just wondering if this goes along with burning a wood product.

burn any candles?

Exactly what I was going to say. My wife burns candles all the time and I get soot on the ceilings and walls.
