    My last mixing valve came with a very nice liquid crystal thermometer strip that you could stick to a pipe. It shows you the temperature instantly, and I have to think that it is cheaper than dirt. Any idea where a person could buy some? I've never seen them for sale, though aquariums often have a similar thing - just a different temperature range.

    A friend found these for me (off the forum, if you can imagine!)

    I've ordered some and I'll report the results. Not many sources for the temp range I'm interested in, but these look good.
