I live very close to the casinos, Mohegan and Foxwoods, anyone else in this area? What are you burning this year? The only thing at our BBS are Green Supreme, Greene Team and Therma Glo. Unless you want to pay $450 a ton for Lignetics at Ace. Looking to pick up 5 ton of something that burns hot, I can deal w ash a song as its hot. Last 2 years HD had Stove Chow which is nowhere to be found this year. Any help is appreciated. I'd prefer HD or Lowes because they deliver for a fair price, otherwise I'd have to rent a uhaul. Thanks.

I just bought 3 tons of Stove Chow from the HD in Glastonbury. They might deliver down your way.

Just got fsu's at HD in windham, never burned them but are rated like stove chows I hear( didn't care for chows though)

They also have 164 tons of ruined freedom fuel, some guy cut all the wrapping off last spring and ruined them all.
Edit $259 a ton

I just saw this, they had FSU's at HD in Waterford. I grabbed a few bags Saturday morning. Glad you got your stash situated.

Lot of ruined product at TSC in Saybrook, and at the TSC in Pawcatuck. TSC in Saybrook has 100% Hardwood TSC brand that are matching the bar code of Lignetics, though they won't sell you bags, only by the ton.

I stopped by Saybrook TSC and saw those. Wish I knew Waterford had Fireside, I've been checking there every few days and they've only had Thermaglo. Montville HD has several truck loads of Green Supreme that have been sitting there for weeks. Glad my search is over.

Those ThermaGlo's have been there a while. Those FSU's must have just come in Friday. The wrap wasn't even dirty yet.

Im in ledyard, a couple milea from mohegan. A friend of mine uses stateline pellets. Prices seem good. I would give them a call

I've been burning pellets for 4 going on 5 winters. At first I followed my stove dealers recommendation stayed away from the big box brands and bought expensive pellets. But the last few years I bought Green Supreme, Inferno Gold, and others. I cannot tell the difference they all burn the same. The only exception to that is left over pellets from the prior season don't cause clinkers to form. I think that's because they have a lower moisture content than fresher pellets. I buy the cheapest pellets I can find and recommend you do the same.
