Is this a good idea?

I'm going to get a spare burn pot liner so that when I do a weekly clean, I can exchange them and work on getting it clean when I have time and not have stove down-time.

great idea

I think it's a great idea especially when it's cold as hell and all you want to do is get your baby (stove) hot again!
I have an extra liner. I figure that sometime in the next 7 days I will find a better time to clean.....
Currently I use a "Irwin Marples" scraper...I can't remember it's exact recommended use but even though it does a good job, I need to get a sharpning stone. Good luck, Bill
