Well pick up about 15 huge rounds that you folks were nice enough to id for me as beech free still another truck load hard to load and hard to split but its free...ED split wood 001.JPG

That's some mighty fine kindling there at the foot of the splitter. I always like to place a tarp under the work area. Makes it much easier to capture all the scraps to use later for kindling. Just sayin'

Very nice haul btw.
 
wont find a better wood in my opinion. I burn a lot of beech as much of it is dying on our property and hunting lease due to beech bark disease. dries fairly quick and throws the heat !
