Split some Cherry

Had a late start (7:45) on the splitting, the pines had a nice sway going with all the wind we were getting then it finally quit.

Cherry is in the front row with the beech from Monday in the back.

I thought so too, but my buddy gave me some smoked ribs that he had done with cherry and I don't know if it was the wood or the technique, but the ribs tasted too smoky . . . unlike the smoked ribs he had cooked with apple which were mouth-watering . . . and incidentally, both the apple and cherry were supplied by me . . . I figured it was a fair trade . . . free smoked meat for dinner with a friend in return for some extra wood I had on my woodpile.
