Ok so my Dirty Hands 27 ton split-er pump is leaking at the main seal. I call the company and still under warranty so they sent me out a new pump at no cost at all to me. They did not want the old one back. After taking a very close look at it, something must have gotten between the love joy and pump main seal. I would like to fix it if all possible and keep as a spare. Any ideas were to start looking for repair parts. Thanks

Can you take the seal out and take it to the parts store like napa or something? Also take the seal out and get the numbers off of it. Then google it. You will find one somewhere.

Well...generally speaking the two stage hydro pumps are considered a non-repairable item. They are throw away (the reason DHT didn't want it back). It is a shame to toss if it is nothing more than a seal. I have never had a failed pump, so never got the chance to tear one apart. It might be fun just to try.
