Splitting a log with a bottle jack.........

I have seen wood split with an axe, maul, wedge, wood grenade and various hydraulic and electric splitters, but I have never seen anyone finish splitting a log with a hydraulic jack before......

 
I never saw what kind of "Jack" he was using.................black jack, gentleman jack, regular jack, etc.


Plus the video stopped before it was "truly" split!!!
 
No reason why that would not work. One does what is necessary to get the job done.
