I'm actually sort of surprised we haven't seen bears around here. We're pretty rural and there are a lot of restaurants (read: dumpsters) and stupid "summer people" who put their trash out the day they leave even though trash collection won't occur for some days... (ring the dinner bell, why dontcha?).
Lots of racoons and skunks, though. Foxes and fishers, too.
