I planted these Crook-Neck Squash seed on 04/06/2010...they have now come to life and will soon, hopefully produce some squash that will be great tasting table fare (if I can keep the squash bugs out of them :ahhh: ). Hope you enjoy & Thanks for looking.

Thanks!.....Mostly clay...its pretty hard work raising a garden here in this old red clay dirt. It takes a lot of potting soil & Miracle Gro. ;-)
 
I'd think you would have allot of good sources to make compost.
Leaves & grass. Anyone with horses nearby? Horse Manure compost good stuff.
I use HM , leaves, grass & all the garden plants at the end of the year.
