Has anybody installed one of these or seen one?

You can go to www.stcroixstoves.com to look at the Asby. That is the new website. You will want to click onto products and then to Multi-Fuel Stoves.

The Ashby's that have been in production so far have been Multi-fuel, these can burn corn, cherry pits, wheat, rye and pellets. There is a kit coming (no time to be exact) that will turn it into a Pellet stove that will burn 100% pellets or a 50/50 pellets and corn

The Ashby's look alot like the York Insert but the design is better, they are also taller. The Hopper can be moved up o rdown to fit your needs with your installation, but it is also taller as a Multi-fuel unit because there is an add on Ash Pan below so that you can drop the clinker

Hope this helps!!

Thanks for the reply. I did look at on the website and looked over the mnaual online but what i could not figure out was the way you accessed the component on the backside. it seems like you have to drag it out to clean or service the backside
