St Croix Lincoln scs good deal?

I found a dealer floor model Lincoln scs. 2 years old. Their new ones sell for $3800. The demo it's priced at $2699. He says they are not allowed to transfer the warranty, but will sell any parts I need at his cost for one year.

I saw it running and thought it was pretty quiet.

Good deal?

Not a good deal. DH and I were talking to the guy. We stepped out for LITERALLY 3-5 minutes to talk to each other. We walked back in to say "yes," and he already sold it.
